Slow Food in Canada has a board and an executive made up of volunteer members and the Canadian Councillor (elected every 4 years at the Slow Food International Congress) and one paid Communications person. Members may be nominated or volunteer for executive positions. It is understood, that applicants for this position are informed and active members of the Slow Food in Canada Network. Terms of Office
Executive members shall be prepared to serve a minimum of one two-year term. Elections take place at the annual national meeting, every two years. Nominations for board members are open every two years to the Slow Food in Canada membership, including board Members who have served on the Slow Food in Canada Board as per the current Slow Food in Canada bylaws.
