Saving Biodiversity Pathway
Piazza Castello
This pathway will allow visitors to discover the value of biodiversity, the importance of healthy, living soil and the essential role of seeds, the first link in our food chain. Using touch and smell, you’ll be able to get to know the shapes and scents of biodiversity. Revolving illustrated panels will explain the difference between different agricultural models, and you’ll be able to feel different types of soil, play with multi-colored seeds and learn all about the Slow Food projects to protect and promote biodiversity: the Ark of Taste, the Presidia and the food gardens,
The interactive pathways are open every day from 10am to 7pm (Slow Meat) and from 12am to 12 pm (Saving Biodiversity Pathway). At the end of each one, you’ll be able to learn more about Slow Food, our projects and our campaigns to protect biodiversity and soil fertility.
