Members elected a new Board of directors at the last Slow Food Montreal Congress. Composed of people of diverse origins and interests, the team has given itself a mandate to broaden the base of its membership and to establish connections between organizations whose mission and actions complement those of Slow Food.
Its new co-chair, Marc Desrosiers, is an early environmentalist. He has been a member of Slow Food Montréal for the past ten years and aims to help consumers become aware of the role they play in preparing their plate and the ecological, economic and social impacts of their choices.
The other co-chair, Chantal Bergeron, has been a member of Slow Food for 5 years and was a volunteer at the last Salon du Goût in Montreal. She firmly believes that healthy and fair food democratization is a fundamental right for all and she is challenged by the challenge ahead.
The new board of directors of Slow Food Montréal also counts on Stéphanie Dufour, Alessandra Cerroni and Maria Fortino.
Let’s give a warm welcome to the new Directors of Slow Food Montreal!
