Save the date! The National Slow Food in Canada Conference 2014 will be held on May 1-4 in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.

Here’s what to expect from this year’s conference:

  • A celebration of the opening of our local lobster fishery season at a kitchen party in the beautiful village of Wallace
  • A visit to Sugar Moon Farm and a tasting of their maple syrup
  • A wine tasting at the province’s oldest and largest winery, Jost Vineyards in Malagash

And so much more! To register and/or buy your tickets, visit slowfoodcanada2014.ca

The National Conference will also be host to the 2nd annual celebration of our Canadian Food Heroes, who help protect and/or promote a good clean and fair food system.

This year’s National Executive Elections will also take place during the event. The names of the nominees will be listed below as nominations come in – so far, we have received none. Want to apply? Simply click here to access all the details and the form.
