Feeding the Future

The Slow Food in Canada 2016 National Summit will be hosted by Slow Food Columbia Valley (visit their website here) in Invermere, British Columbia April 6-10, 2016.

Nestled in the Purcell Mountains on beautiful Lake Windermere with ranchlands, farms and artisanal food producers, Invermere offers the perfect setting to welcome food enthusiasts from across Canada to our annual summit. Slow Food Columbia Valley is busy working on an exciting slate of meetings, gatherings, tours and events.

Tickets

General Admission (for not-yet Slow Food members)
Early bird –Deadline February 29th – $450
Regular – After February 29th – $475

Includes: A one-year Slow Food single membership, a Slow Food gift bag, all meals and snacks, taste workshops, one wine or beer ticket per evening event, all conference sessions, all transportation to the conference events within the valley.

Slow Food Members Admission
Early bird – Deadline February 29th – $350
Regular – After February 29th – $375

Includes: A Slow Food gift bag, all meals and snacks, taste workshops, one wine or beer ticket per evening event, all conference sessions, all transportation to the conference events within the valley.

Slow Food Youth Member Admission – Limited Number

$150 – Recipients of the Feeding the Future Youth Volunteer Pass must be a Slow Food Youth member and will assist the organizers throughout the conference by helping with registration, introducing speakers, room set-up and organization, audio visual technical assistance, etc.

There are only six passes available for the moment. In the meantime, the organizing committee is working on finding more funding for more passes.

Feeding the Future Daily Pass – Available for locals in Invermere

$35 for Slow Food Members
$50 for not-yet members
Includes: lunch and snacks, but not dinner

Beer Tasting at Arrowhead Brewery – Saturday April 9th 2016

Registration is only for people attending the full conference. For individual tickets, these are sold at the Circle Cafe and Circle Health Cafe. For more info, contact: slowfoodcv@gmail.com
